Post Season Practice and Game Schedule

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our players on a strong season, especially our players who have been nursing injuries but still giving it their all on the field.

The season isn't over yet...F/S and Varsity are continuing on to the playoffs.  JV, however, will not be participating due to numerous injuries.  The following is our schedule for both practice and games.  Please watch for additional emails as we work our way through the playoff brackets.

Monday, May 21

• F/S - 5:00-7:00pm at Scullen.
• Varsity - 5:00-7:00pm at Indian Plains

Tuesday, May 22

• F/S - Practice - 5:00-7:00pm at Scullen
• Varsity - GAME at Indian Plains vs. Evanston, arrive at field at 5:00pm, game at 6:00pm.

Wednesday, May 23

• F/S - GAME at Indian Plains vs. Bartlett, arrive at field by 5:00pm, game at 6:00pm.
• Varsity - Practice at Scullen - 5:00-7:00pm.

Thursday, May 24

• F/S - TBD based on Wednesday's results.
• Varsity - TBD based on Tuesday's results.

Friday, May 25

• F/S - TBD based on Thursday's results.
• Varsity - TBD based on Thursday's results.

Club Awards Banquet

WVHSLC will hold its annual Club Awards Banquet and Silent Auction on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Stonebridge Country Club.  Interested in helping with the banquet contact Debbie Wiggins, or silent auction contact Joan Hurst.  Additional details to follow.

New Wave Summer Lacrosse League

• June 12 - July 24
• Tuesday Evenings - between 4:00 and 8:00 pm
• At Nike Park, Naperville and O'Donnel Park, Aurora
• Cost $100
• Deadline for registration - June 1st
• Open to 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 graduating classes.
• Register on the New Wave web site.  Make sure to note that you will be playing for Waubonsie Valley HS, your graduation year, position and team (JV or Varsity). I would suggest JV for 2016, 2015 and 2014 classes. Varsity for 2014 and 2013 classes.
• Once you have registerd please email Ms. Hurst your name, graduation year, position and team choice of JV or Varsity at amhurstlax@sbcglobal.net .

Ohio State University High School LAX Camp

• July 20 - 22
• Depart Friday morning July 20th, Return Sunday evening July 22nd.
• OSU, Columbus, Ohio
• Cost $450 (includes food and lodging)
• Deadline for registration July 1st.
• All LAX, all the time while at OSU (eat, sleep, drink, play, repeat).  In past years, it has been each family's responsibility to transport their own son(s) to and from OSU.  Since we do need to arrive as a team, we leave Aurora as a group Friday morning, unless other arrangements are made.  Carpooling is highly encouraged.  Please notify Mark and Josilyn Klimek once registration is completed at m_klimek@att.net .
